Useful information for users and organizers

As a user, do I need a customer account?

Yes! FanSafe attaches great importance to personalized tickets in order to offer maximum security for visitors and to curb the sale of overpriced tickets on the ticket black market. A customer account is required for this.

Is the customer account free?

YES, user accounts are completely free and will remain free. Users only pay for the tickets they purchase.

What payment options are provided?

We use Mollie's payment gateway and currently offer the following payment methods

  • Credit Card
  • Klarna instant transfer
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • eps

 The payment methods offered may vary from time to time. 

What costs do I have as an organizer?

The costs for organizers vary depending on whether you as the organizer pay the site fee (8% + €0.20 / ticket) in full or pass it on partially or completely to the ticket buyer. You as the organizer define this when creating the ticket. Read more here.

In addition to the above-mentioned fees, organizers may only incur online payment gateway fees. There are generally different fees for the gateways provided. To simplify the calculation, the average value was used. This fee amounts to 1.7% + €0.25 per transaction and will be deducted when the payment is made to the organizer.  

As an event organizer, do I incur monthly fees?

NO! With FanSafeTix Community there is no commitment and there are no monthly fees.

How much is the commission fee?

FanSafe charges a sales commission of 8% + €0.20 per ticket sold for using the platform. The basis for the calculation is the ticket price set by the organizer. The ticket prices displayed in the shop always include commission fees.

Wie und wann bekomme ich als Veranstalter mein Geld?

All payouts are billed per event. This means that the payment to the organizer will be initiated no later than 1 working day after the event took place.

By default, payment is made by bank transfer to the bank details provided during registration. Depending on the bank, the payout can take several working days.
Alternatively, the payment can also be made via PayPal. The advantage is that you receive the money immediately. There is an additional 2% service fee for PayPal withdrawals, which will be deducted during payouts.

As an event organizer, do I need a PayPal account?

No! Organizers do not necessarily have to have a PayPal account. However, if desired, FanSafe can also pay out the organizer's sales to an email address linked to PayPal.

How do I get paid as an organizer if I don't want to save my bank details or PayPal E-Mail in my FanSafeTix account?

Of course that's not a problem either.
If you as the organizer decide not to save your bank details in your FanSafeTix account, you will of course still receive your payouts. Please note, however, that the payout will not be automatically initiated by FanSafe.
In diesem Fall ist es dann notwendig, dass du einen Auszahlungsanfrage per Kontaktformular an unser Support Team schickst. Deine Bankverbindung oder PayPal E-Mail Adresse wird in diesem Fall nicht gespeichert, sondern nur temporär für diese Auszahlung verwendet.

Can I change or delete already published events?

JA! Events, die bereits online gestellt wurden, sind danach voll editierbar. Unter dem Menü-Punkt „Meine Events“ können sämtliche Änderungen vorgenommen werden. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Veranstalters, seine Besucher über Änderungen eines Events zu informieren.

How to manage my visitors?

The organizer dashboard provides a complete overview of how many attendees are expected, how many tickets have been sold per event and how much revenue has been generated. In addition to the income, also the fees per event are displayed. It's also possible to do the user check-in via the dashboard. More on that in this one Support Article

What options are there for user check-in?

After registering as an organizer, you will receive a download link to the check-in app for Android and iOS, as well as the QR code or API key required for login. The scanning apps can also be downloaded from the support area.
The check-in can also be carried out without a mobile app, directly via the dashboard using a PC/Notebook.

As an organizer, can I issue a refund?

Refunds via FanSafe are only possible if the event has not yet taken place. Tell us which payment (order number, customer details, amount) should be refunded.

For events that have already taken place and the payment has been initiated, we kindly ask that you contact your customer directly and clarify the details for the refund.
